Hi! Welcome to my blog. I've never done this before so this will be a learning process :). I want to keep everyone up to date on my journey and hopefully I will be able to type at least a weekly update. The departure date is quickly looming in the future. I have less than 3 weeks until I leave for Texas. All I can say is ... wow!! The amount of people who have not only voiced their support but given financially and in prayer is amazing. I am truly blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life. I am so thankful, but I do have a request for help. With the departure just around the corner I am in need of additional financial support. The total cost of this trip is nearly $9,000! Thanks to my many supporters I have about half of this. If you personally know me you know that I hate asking for anything. This has definitely been a humbling experience. If you cannot give financially I understand, but please include me in my prayers.
